As everyone is aware the cost of putting on a Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event has risen substantially in the last few years. We are really blessed in the South Central Division to have great tracks to host our events. To maintain these facilities the way you would like is very expensive. At this years planning meeting we have had to make some changes, one was to raise car & driver entry and crew entry fees. In 2010 our Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series car & driver entry fee is going up $10 to $160, and our 3 day crew passes are going up $5 to $55 per person.

The next change is with the Top Alcohol Dragsters and Top Alcohol Funny Cars that participate at the South Central Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events in 2010. Starting this year all entries with the exception of the Gold Card holders will pay to enter the events and for their crew members. In the past we have always let the Alcohol cars participate for free, and let their crew members in free, unfortnately with increasing costs to operate the events we can no longer provide the free entries.

We are aware that raising the cost to compete on to the racers is not real popular, but, we have to look at being able to provide quality facilities for you to race on.
