As the 2025 racing season comes to a close, the South Central Division takes pride in honoring the exceptional racers who rose to the top of the Super Street Category in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. This season delivered intense competition, memorable performances, and standout achievements from drivers across the region.
Super Street Category
The Super Street points battle showcased determination, consistency, and standout driving throughout the year. Three racers emerged above the rest to secure the top positions:
🥉 3rd Place – Jim Burrell
Burrell wrapped up the season with 299 points, showcasing solid performance and commitment that kept him in the hunt all year long.
🥈 Runner-Up – Dennis Haralson
Haralson earned 331 points, securing second place through a series of strong finishes that made him a constant threat in the standings.
🥇 2025 Super Street Champion – Chuck Wier
The 2025 Super Street Championship belongs to Chuck Wier, who amassed 428 points in a season marked by consistency and standout results. Wier swept the Tulsa Raceway Park Double-Divisional, winning both races—one of which concluded at the Texas Motorplex following a weather delay. He also secured a runner-up finish at the Texas Motorplex during the spring event and produced several strong showings throughout the season. His dominance and resilience made him the clear 2025 champion.
The South Central Division applauds these racers for their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the season.

The racing community is invited to celebrate the season’s accomplishments at the 2025 South Central Division 4 Champions Banquet, where we will honor champions from across the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Summit Racing Series, Shaneda Machine Top Sportsman Series, Tom Thorp Transport Top Dragster Series, and the Summit Jr. Drag Racing League.
