The NHRA South Central Division is pleased to announce that Stanfield Racing Engines will become the title sponsor of the Stock Eliminator Bonus Fund for the 2026 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series season.
Stanfield Racing Engines has built a strong reputation throughout the NHRA sportsman ranks, particularly within the Stock and Super Stock categories. Their support of the South Central Division reflects a continued commitment to the racers who compete throughout Division 4 and the grassroots programs that serve as the foundation of the sport.
Through this partnership, the Stanfield Racing Engines Stock Eliminator Bonus Fund will provide additional incentive for racers competing in the highly competitive Stock Eliminator category at NHRA South Central Division events throughout the season.
“Stanfield Racing Engines represents one of the most respected names in sportsman drag racing,” said Jonathan Johnson, NHRA South Central Division Director. “Their involvement in supporting the Stock Eliminator category shows a true commitment to the racers who make this class one of the most competitive in our division. We’re excited to welcome Stanfield Racing Engines as a partner in the South Central Division.”
The company is led by Greg Stanfield, one of the most accomplished racers in NHRA history. A second-generation competitor, Stanfield has earned victories in six NHRA categories including Pro Stock, Pro Stock Truck, Super Stock, Stock, Competition Eliminator, and Factory X. He is a five-time NHRA Super Stock world champion and the inaugural Factory X world champion, winning four of the eight races during the class’s first official season in 2024.
The Stanfield family legacy continues with Aaron Stanfield, a third-generation racer and one of the rising stars in NHRA Pro Stock competition. Aaron has established himself as one of the most versatile drivers in the sport, competing across multiple categories including Pro Stock, Super Stock, Stock Eliminator, Top Dragster, and Factory Stock Showdown. He is also a three-time NHRA Factory Stock Showdown world champion and a three-time NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Division 4 champion.
Beyond their success on the racetrack, the Stanfield family operates Stanfield Racing Engines, building championship-caliber engines for competitors across the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Factory Stock Showdown, and Factory X categories.
The NHRA South Central Division continues to work with partners like Stanfield Racing Engines to develop programs that support grassroots drag racing and provide additional opportunities for competitors across the region.
