The NHRA South Central Division is pleased to announce that Shaneda Machine has renewed its partnership with the division, continuing its support of the Sportsman category within the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
Shaneda Machine has been a valued partner of the NHRA South Central Division and a consistent supporter of sportsman racers across the region. Through the continued partnership, Shaneda Machine will once again be recognized as the sponsor of the Sportsman class throughout the South Central Division’s Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events.
In addition to supporting the class throughout the season, the Top 10 finishers in the Shaneda Machine Sportsman points standings will also compete for additional bonus money at the conclusion of the season. Thanks to the support of Quarter-Max Chassis & Components, those Top 10 racers will have the opportunity to race for a special end-of-season bonus payout, further rewarding the competitors who commit to chasing divisional points throughout the year.
The Sportsman category remains a key component of the divisional racing program, featuring some of the most competitive racers in the region competing throughout the season in pursuit of divisional championships and national opportunities.
“Shaneda Machine has been a tremendous supporter of our racers and our division,” said Jonathan Johnson, NHRA South Central Division Director. “Their continued commitment to the Sportsman category helps strengthen our divisional program and provides additional recognition for the competitors who make this class so competitive. Pairing that with the additional opportunity for the Top 10 racers to compete for bonus money at the end of the season only adds to the excitement and incentive for our Sportsman competitors.”
The NHRA South Central Division continues to work with partners like Shaneda Machine and Quarter-Max Chassis & Components to develop programs that support grassroots drag racing and provide additional opportunities for competitors across the division.
