Robert Sanders: Focused and Ready for Another Shot at the Championship

For Robert Sanders, earning another trip to the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA World Championship in Las Vegas is more than just another race weekend — it’s a second chance at something special.

Sanders, who captured the South Central Division 4 Summit ET Finals win for the second consecutive year, reflected on what it means to head back to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway representing Division 4 once again.

“It means a lot to get another chance at the national championship. I won the Summit ET Finals in 2023 and was excited to get to go to Vegas and represent Division 4, but being my first time there, it was overwhelming and a blur. This time around, I won’t be as shell-shocked — I’ll be super focused and hope I can do Division 4 proud.”

With his experience from last year fueling his determination, Sanders is heading into Vegas with a calm confidence and a clear goal — to bring the championship back home to South Central Division 4.
