Don’t miss the action as the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series rolls back into the Lone Star State for the Double Divisional at Texas Motorplex! We’re excited to crown new champions and hand out more Wallys in Division 4! 

 

Lonestar Nationals Event Schedule 

Tuesday, May 13th, 2025: 

8 AM: Parking Opens (Racers may only save one spot) 

Gates Open 24 Hours 

  

Wednesday, May 14th, 2025: 

8 AM: Gates Open 

9 AM - 8 PM: Parking & Credentials  

12 PM - 6 PM: Test & Tune ($75) 

10 PM: Overnight Stacking 

 

Thursday, May 15th, 2025: 

8 AM - 8 PM: Parking & Credentials  

9 AM: Qualifying & Time Runs (All Classes) 

Pro 1 Shootouts (SST, SC, SG) 

4 PM & 6 PM: TAD/TAFC Test Sessions 

  

Friday, May 16th, 2025: 

8 AM: Race #1 Gates Open 

8 AM: RFC Service 

9 AM: Eliminations 

12 PM-3 PM-6 PM: TAD/TAFC Qualifying 

4 PM-7PM: Jr. Dragster Time Runs

 

Saturday, May 17th, 2025: 

9 AM: Qualifying & Time Runs (All Classes) 

  • SS, STK, SC, SG, SST (1) TT/Qualifying & Round One of Eliminations 

  • Comp, TD, TS, SMC (2) Qualifying Sessions 

12 PM-3 PM-6 PM: TAD/TAFC Eliminations  

12 PM-1:30 PM-4 PM-7 PM: Jr. Dragster Eliminations

 

Sunday, May 18th, 2025: 

8 AM: Race #2 Gates Open 

8 AM: RFC Service 

9 AM: Eliminations

Daily Run Schedules 



 Tech Card Policy Reminder 

Reminder to all participants, any driver making a run prior to submitting an electronic tech card and not signing the online or onsite waiver will be disqualified from the event. Disqualification applies to the driver and vehicle in which the illegal run was involved. Should a driver have a second entry in a different category at the same event, the second entry will be allowed to continue providing tech inspection and waiver signing was completed prior to making a run in the vehicle. 

  

Tech Card Policy Reminder 

If any corrections are required after submitting a tech card. Competitor will notify the race director or NHRA staff of any necessary corrections as soon as possible. NHRA will provide the competitor with a link to edit the tech card. 

  

Class Changes (STK, SS, COMP) 

Stock Super, Stock, and Comp competitors that request a class change after submitting a tech card. Racer notifies the tech department of a class change prior to making a qualifying attempt. Tech department confirms vehicle fits within the class then makes applicable changes to weight sticker, etc. Tech department notifies the tower of change
