Back-to-Back Champion: Jimmy Hidalgo Jr. Claims 2025 Division 4 Super Stock Title

When you think of Super Stock, one name immediately comes to mind—Jimmy Hidalgo Jr. During the 2025 NHRA season, Hidalgo once again proved why he is regarded as one of the most formidable and respected class racers in the sport.

Hidalgo opened the season with momentum, earning a runner-up finish at Belle Rose, before following it up with victories at South Georgia Motorsports Park and Tulsa Raceway Park. Building on an already impressive résumé, he delivered another remarkable year on track, showcasing consistency, precision, and championship-caliber execution throughout the season.

His efforts were rewarded with the 2025 NHRA South Central Division 4 Super Stock Championship, marking back-to-back division championship titles for Hidalgo, who successfully defended his 2024 Super Stock crown. The achievement further cemented his status as one of the elite competitors in both Super Stock and Stock Eliminator.

On the national stage, Hidalgo came within just a few points of defending his 2024 NHRA Stock Eliminator World Championship, finishing second in the national standings just behind Justin Lamb.

The South Central Division continues to be recognized as one of the most competitive divisions in the country, and Hidalgo’s performance exemplified that reputation. His ability to contend for championships at both the divisional and national levels highlights the depth of talent within the division and underscores why it remains home to some of the best Super Stock and Stock racers in NHRA.

Hidalgo captured the South Central Division 4 Super Stock Championship with 461 points, finishing ahead of Ryan Montford, who earned second place with 343 points, and Hayden Trumble, who rounded out the top three with 330 points.

Jimmy Hidalgo Jr.’s 2025 season will be remembered as another milestone in an exceptional career—one defined by consistency, determination, and championship-caliber performance. The South Central Division looks forward to celebrating Jimmy at the 2025 South Central Division 4 Champions Banquet in January.
